I think that these tools are very useful because now we can share with colleagues when preparing the lessons or when you just want to share a good source or idea. However, I feel I need to learn more about tagging. The tags that I used were specific to what I was looking for: math problems and lesson plans with tech resources.
I joined Diigo and Delicious. In Diigo I joined a group called Education Technology Group.
The two websites that I found were:
http://mathplayground.com/
http://cybersmartcurriculum.org/
Welcome to the magical Learning Kingdom!
Welcome to the Magical Learning Kingdom!
Once upon a time a teacher decided to share the most memorable and magical "tales" she could find. The teacher wanted to give special powers to her students to have a trully magical learning adventure. The teacher, Mrs. Paridon, has created this magic place for you to embark on an adventure in the Magical Learning Kingdom.

Tool #4: Cool Google Tools
Google Docs is an excellent source to keep documents organized and easy to find. I think Google doc could help our team to work at the same time in assignments or projects together. It would save a lot of wasted time putting together documents, projects or assignments.
Google reading would be a nice place to go when you want to get new ideas or want to see what is new.
I have shared a Google doc with my sister and have set up my Google reader account.

Tool #3: Image Generators and Mashups
I created a short video using Animoto and using my own pictures. It is very fun to "play" with pictures and videos. I love that you can add music and text. I also used the poetry blender. I love to play with all of these imaging tools, however, it is a time consuming job!
Create your own video slideshow at animoto.com.

Tool #1:Creating the blog and the avatar
Creating the blog was relatively easy, creating the avatar has been very frustrating. I created an avatar at least 40 times. I tried everything possible to publish it but I did not succeed. I feel very frustrated because I wasted several hours trying to publish the avatar. I believe that the website is not working properly. However I feel very happy because I think that the students are going to love the avatars and I think I would create avatars per each subject or if possible and the time allow me, I could create an avatar for each theme that we will teach.
Tool #2: Building an online education comunity and a PLN
I am learning the importance of participating in a PLN . I have found out that is very interesting and can enrich us as teachers and as people. The children are really ahead of many of us in the use of technologies and networks. They seem to carry a technology gene that facilitates them for the use of new devices that are designed to be part of different networks.
I believe that participating in PLN could seem hard but in the end it is a pleasure to learn new things and be able to share our thoughts, everyday experiences, and feelings and to enrich our teaching with different points of view and new ideas.
I am learning how to write comments and I think we need to keep in mind 3 important points: Share something about your self, tag clouds for your comments could be a good feedback and teaching the students how to write comments.
The five blogs I commented on:
Gann's Gazette
